As cool as this is, I have trouble wrapping my mind around the absurdity of it all.

Mi comic es su comic.

This webcomic has a pretty esoteric appeal, but I dig it.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Superman!

Nothin’ says lovin’ like a comic from the oven.

I dunno if this website is real, but it gives me the heebies.

Today’s comic is hot off the presses.

If you’ve got a high-speed connection and a hankering for some sweet zombie action, this might whet your appetite.

Now that today’s comic is up, I’m going to play a little Worldbuilder.

If you’re feeling low, just remember that things could always be worse…you could be trapped by undead, for example.

Just in case yesterday’s comic sparked a yearning for a western-themed webcomic, here you go. Although, really, it’s more of a western with far east flavor.

There are more shades of brown in today’s comic than I previously knew existed.

There is a bit of an uproar in the webcomics community these days regarding comic-viewing programs, sparked by this article in the Chicago Sun Times.

I’m still working out some residual Cowboy Bebop mojo, as today’s comic shows.

Many moons ago, a reader asked me to come up with a Tweep-themed wallpaper and I, flattered by the request, agreed to do so. I’d never done anything of the sort before, so it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do. Eventually, I decided on a Tweep-ified version of this:

…a Cowboy Bebop wall scroll that a friend had given me years ago. It’s probably been the greatest aid in improving my art skills (with Google Image Search coming in a close second), as I tend to refer to it whenever there’s some new technique I’m trying to learn and I need to see it in practice. You can see the scroll (sort of) on the wall of Milton’s bedroom in one of the early strips, and there’s also a blurred, Tweeptastic version in the one-year anniversary strip (blurred partly because it works better for the scene, and partly because it just wasn’t finished at the time. Mostly the former. Honest.).

It was such a great aid, in fact, that whenever it looked like I was making progress on the wallpaper, I’d have some artistic epiphany which, while always a good thing, meant that I’d have to start over so that the final work would reflect what I’d learned.

However, at long last, I’ve got a version that I’m comfortable with. For the moment, at least. So, without further ado, here’s the Cowboy Tweep wallpaper.

They’re all in PNG format, but if that doesn’t work for you, just lemme know.

I’m always pleased when an opportunity to use speed lines in the comic presents itself.

Today was a quiet day of coping with allergies and working on a little something-something that I’d hoped to have finished, but, alas, am still a little ways from completing. Expect it sometime later this week.

If you’re looking to spice up your playlist, there’s a little something here for everyone; best of all, the tunes are free (in more than one sense of the word).

Here are some of my favorite finds. Bear in mind, my taste in music is pretty questionable.

While we’re talking music, check this out (especially if you’re wondering about the title of today’s post). Good stuff.

If I messed up the title of today’s comic, I apologize; my Latin’s pretty rusty.

I’ve been meaning to mention Catharsis for a while now…

Directions: Take comic internally for temporary relief of ennui, melancholy, and boredom.

I think I’ve found the closest thing there is to a real-life Bunlop.

Today’s comic has zero carbs, calories, and nutritional value.

Another day, another logo.

Anyhow, take a look at these blogs. They’re out of this world.

Little oddities like this make the internet grand.

Apologies in advance for the title of today’s comic.

Take a gander at these these Photoshopped versions of classic “Far Side” ‘toons.

I can scarcely believe it, but as of today, I’ve been doing this comic thing for a year. Madness. I think it fitting that the new year start off as the old one did…that is to say, with Milton in bed. It also seemed like the right time to do a Watterson tribute (another of my cartooning heroes).

It’s funny to see how much the comic has changed over the course of the year. Did I say “funny?” I meant “cringe-inducing.”

One of my biggest influences (though it may not be readily apparent) when it comes to things webcomicky is John Allison’s work, so I’m always thrilled whenever somebody decides to interview him.

The irony of today’s comic is that I really didn’t get much sleep last night.
