You know, in geologic terms, this still counts as soon. It ain’t much, but it’s a start.

Sorry about the long absence, everyone (those of you still reading, at least). I hadn’t planned to stop work on the comic at all… life just sorta got in the way of things, as it tends to do. Still… I think I needed a break and didn’t realize it at the time, so maybe things all worked out for the best.

Some of you wrote me some very nice emails while I was AWOL and, like a big ol’ jerk, I haven’t written back to you yet. I will, though! Honestly, I was really touched by some of the things you guys and gals said.

Anyhow, I’m still getting back into the swing of things, so I’ll keep this one short (actually, they’ve all been pretty short, haven’t they? This is probably one of the longer ones…). I had a lot more that I wanted to say, but it all eludes me at the moment. Maybe next time!
